We need to teach the next generation of children from day one that they are responsible for their lives.
Mankind's greatest gift, also its greatest curse, is that we have free choice.
We can make our choices built from love or from fear.

Education and Prevention
The key to stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS is education and prevention.  Therefore it is part of the mission of New Jersey AIDS Services to provide these services to the community.

Youth Education
Staff and trained professionals from New Jersey AIDS Services visit Elementary, Middle and High Schools throughout the year to help educate youth about HIV/AIDS.   A comprehensive presentation is given detailing the modes of transmission, risky behaviors, and general HIV/AIDS facts.  This is followed by an experiential presentation given by a client of New Jersey AIDS Services discussing their experiences in living with HIV.  While our clients are already infected with HIV, it is our aim to prevent future infections in others.

Community and Corporate Education
New Jersey AIDS Services provides HIV/AIDS training to any corporation or community organization interested in scheduling a presentation.  Staff will discuss the modes of transmission, risky behaviors, and workplace issues related to living with HIV/AIDS.
